… before I’ll have to go back to Prague. And frankly, I cannot wait to get there. But I miss Prague, I miss fun at school and tons of other things.
It’s been nice summer. Last two weeks at home were fabulous and I have been enjoying every single minute (that I did not have to spend by opening lenses ;-]).

Paintball v Paskově, 13. září 2008
Here are some highlights: I met my schoolmates from Gypri (and got smashed like hell with them as usually), played paintball with my father’s friends (and got smashed like hell afterwards); went to town celebs of Novy Jicin (and, as usually, drunk few beers and ended up wasted)… I really did enjoy all that. Ouh, and I rode a bike as much as I could to clean up body/mind ;-).

Nike+ Human race takes place on 31/08 and I’ll be running with number 0769197. There will be another 999 998 fellow runners all over the world competing against me ;-).
This is the world’s biggest one day running event ever, offering runners across the globe the chance to compete together on August 31, 2008. The 10k event will span multiple continents and cover 25 cities, including LA, New York,London, Madrid, Paris, Istanbul, Melbourne, Shanghai, São Paulo and Vancouver.
I can’t wait. To make things even better, Nike invited top-class musicians to perform and make it for all of us runners a bit easier. So as I’m running in London, I’ll get to see Moby and Pendulum. Folks in LA will joined by Kanye West etc. It’s f**king huge.

I went to London yesterday to collect my race-pack in NikeTown. I have to say, I was quite impressed as the NikeTown on Oxford Street is 3-floor building, and unlike it’s brand-stores in Prague, one of these floors was dedicated to running. There was simply everything I could ever dream of ;-). I ended up spending some ridiculous amount of money. I am now convinced that Nike makes the best apparel / accessories for runners (as for shoes — I’ll never stop using Asics) and as GBP is depreciating, it’s rather cheap to buy that stuff here.

When it comes to history of Southampton, it’s quite impressive. As with any other major port-city, its function has certainly diminished, however it’s still a very important link in everyday’s life of tens of thousands of people.
And I as a photographer love it just because it provides me with a number of opoortunities to take amazing landscape pics :-).
